I have a question: the cable used is KVVRP 10*1.0. It is a 1-5V voltage signal. The distance from the DCS is 400 meters; will it affect the signal? The control cables and power cables run in the same tray, separated from each other by a partition in the middle.
The shielded one should work, right?
Voltage signals are not suitable for long-distance transmission; 400 meters is too far, while a few dozen meters is acceptable.
With partitions and shielding layers in place, control cables and power cables can be run on the same tray, but this is not recommended.
Given such a long distance and the fact that it is a voltage signal, it is recommended to convert it to a current signal for transmission.

Original poster, first of all, as the user mentioned above, the distance is too great, which results in excessive voltage signal loss. Secondly, even if your signal is a standard current signal, the cross-sectional area of the cable you chose is too small due to the large distance; for 400V, I think at least 1.5mm2 would be necessary.
