Can two adjacent device platforms be welded together? Is there any standard that contains relevant provisions? Thank you

Non-load-bearing platforms are not allowed; individual use is definitely fine, but care should be taken to prevent using them to hold heavy objects during maintenance. Similarly, over the past ten-odd years we have connected to four locations, and generally no diagrams are provided for the design. The three small passages for people to pass through are relatively easy to use; they are simply meant for individuals to walk through. When these passages are connected, they form a larger interconnected platform. According to the design, this platform is not intended to bear weight, so a courtyard with guardrails was created in the middle during the connection process. There are passages around this courtyard for people to walk through, but it’s not allowed to place anything there.
If the thermal expansions are different, thermal stress must be considered

It’s about having a superior platform; I remember that the platforms cannot be welded together, but I’m not sure which specification sets this rule. .
Those with superior performance are suitable; those that need to carry heavy loads require evaluation

Generally, the connection channel between the operation platforms of the two devices should use a bolted connection, taking into account the free expansion and contraction of the container.
