What impact does diesel, as a reabsorbent for dry gas, have on the components of the dry gas?
The reabsorber mainly absorbs the gasoline components carried out from the absorption tower
Since the absorption tower uses crude gasoline (and stabilized gasoline) as the absorbent, some gasoline components end up being carried along with the dry gas as it exits the tower. The diesel component in the absorption tower is then used to absorb these gasoline components from the dry gas, thereby preventing them from entering subsequent systems and affecting the operation of the dry gas desulfurization system (by causing foaming in the amine solution).
Will amine solution foaming affect the desulfurization efficiency?
It will affect the desulfurization efficiency, but more importantly, it has a significant impact on the operation of the amine scrubber tower for dry gas desulfurization.
