Confirmation of the size and location of the circulating water nozzle for the technical upgrade project?

First, contact your water supply department to find out how much capacity remains in the main pipeline system and whether it can meet the requirement of an additional 200 m3/h of water supply. Generally, it is the staff at the water treatment plant or the recirculation water facility who are aware of this. Ask your workshop for the drawings of the underground drainage network; if they don’t have them, then contact the personnel in your company’s water and gas department or the circulating water facility, as they usually possess such drawings. Then you can see the location and size of the circulating water pipes, as well as the areas around them where it is suitable to install valve chambers. Then calculate the required pipe diameter; if the flow velocity in the inlet main is 3 m/s, a DN150 pipe will be sufficient. If it is to be used directly in the actual application site, it is recommended to use a lower flow velocity – you can calculate this yourself.
