For towers that have passed the factory acceptance test and have been installed on site, when installing the tray, it was found that the levelness of the tray support rings was out of spec – how can this be adjusted on site? Please share your thoughts and give me your advice.

I’m not sure what the diameter of your tower is, nor how large the deviation is. If it’s not too significant, you can weld a tool similar to a \"duckbill\" shape and wrap steel pipe around it; press down on the higher parts and lift up the lower parts – this usually solves the problem! If the deviation is large, it is necessary to determine whether the tower is made of heat-treated material, composite material, or pure stainless steel. In such cases, the part with the significant deviation must be cut out and rewelded. For sections that have been cut and welded, the support ring should be at least 1 cm away from the tower wall, and the length of each such section should not exceed three times the width of the support ring. Similarly, for composite material towers, the support ring also needs to be kept at a certain distance from the tower wall when cutting. Of course, it’s best not to use cutting and welding; generally, using tools to lift and press is sufficient.

Indeed, there is such a method: local shimming is used followed by spot welding to the support ring. For this approach, shims of varying thickness but with the same curvature as the support ring are required, and the joints between the plates must also be welded and then polished smooth; otherwise, large gaps may form between the tray and the support ring
