The KDON(Ar)-30000/70000-900 type air separation unit supplied by Kaifeng Deer Air Separation Industry Co., Ltd. to Qinhuangdao Anfeng Steel Co., Ltd. was successfully commissioned for the first time recently. According to recent reports, this unit has produced oxygen and nitrogen of qualified quality, with its output levels and purity meeting or exceeding the technical specifications specified in the contract. It is understood that the technical staff from Dil Air Separation and Anfeng Steel carried out adjustments to the argon production system of this air separation unit at the end of August; after half a month of effort, the system was able to operate stably for a week. To date, the purity of oxygen and nitrogen products produced exceeds the specified contractual standards, while the argon production remains stable at over 950 Nm3/h, with a purity of greater than 99.999% Ar. This set of equipment represents the fifth time that Deere Air Separation has supplied a complete air separation unit to Anfeng Steel. The previous 15,000-type air separation units have operated smoothly, with excellent performance metrics, and have received positive feedback from the customers.

Steel mills are major consumers of gas; if the gas supply equipment used in domestic steel mills becomes fully domestically produced, air separation units will have a huge market ahead of them. Now many foreign air separation companies are coming to our steel enterprises in search of business.
