The flexible graphite corrugated composite gasket is a type of gasket developed in China for use in pressure-bearing equipment, particularly pressure vessels. It combines the advantages of wound gaskets and metal corrugated gaskets, while avoiding their respective disadvantages. Its basic technical parameters are similar to those of wound gaskets, and this type of gasket is likely to replace both wound gaskets and metal-lined gaskets to a large extent.
This type of gasket is used for high-pressure flat gasket sealing; it offers good sealing performance, and the sealing surface does not require grooving.
