In the gas boiler room, where the gas pipelines enter the room, there are vent ports and sampling ports; is it reasonable to also provide a purging port next to the burner inside the room?
It makes sense; before starting up, the pipes need to be purged with nitrogen before fuel gas can be introduced
However, in real life, many boiler rooms do not have such a purge port; either blind flanges are installed at the ends of the pipes, or it is very rare to see a separate pipe with a valve attached for purging purposes.
Is it related to factors such as the size of the boiler room, the purging method, and the frequency of starting and stopping? Adding blind flanges at the pipe ends can serve as purging interfaces; generally, gas pipelines for gas boilers and incinerators in the petrochemical industry are equipped with purging pipes, and SEI’s design specifications explicitly require their use.
