As the title suggests, when purchasing flanges, I ended up getting ones made of stainless steel 304. I would like to ask whether, when welding stainless steel flanges together, the welding strength of such different materials will be sufficient; will the joints fail? Also, is corrosion between different materials more severe in this case?
