Dear sea friends, may I ask how often the turning frequency of the backup wet overflow rod mill should be? Is it okay for us to do it every 8 hours now?
Taking it every 8 hours is of course no problem. Turning the mill is done to prevent it from remaining stationary for long periods, as this can lead to a decline in its performance and bending or deformation of its components due to continuous stress. However, once every 8 hours is a bit too frequent; once a day should be sufficient.
It is better to check once a day; mark the turntable with red and white indicators to distinguish between odd and even days. This makes it clear at a glance whether the turntable has been rotated or not during inspections, facilitating evaluation.
