Which friend has used Yokogawa’s DY series vortex flowmeters? Please share your experience.
There are likely many users in China who use Yokogawa Electric’s DY series vortex flow meters, so why isn’t anyone sharing their experiences? ? ? ?
If the data is inaccurate, the bottom can be struck to dislodge the debris through vibration, or it can be cleaned separately.
The Yokogawa vortex flowmeter performs well, but it requires its dedicated communication protocol; HART is not supported
It is widely used in the steam pipelines at the boiler outlet, with no problems encountered; there is no maintenance experience to share.
The quality is okay; there are few problems. Occasionally, dirt gets accumulated in the grooves on the measuring tube, and it’s sufficient to clean that out. However, in one of our projects, the fluctuations in the measured steam levels are quite significant, and we haven’t been able to resolve this issue yet
There are basically no problems, so there’s not much experience to share
The communication protocol can be selected; choose HART or BRAIN, with codes E or D respectively. For all Yokogawa field instruments, it is possible to choose between the HART or BRAIN protocol; this needs to be specified when placing the order, and no additional cost is incurred.
