In our facility, there is an oil mist separator on a GE natural gas compressor station, and it constantly has trouble with oil return; the vacuum pressure gauge shows a reading at its maximum. The normal value should be above -200 mmWC. Experts, please analyze the reasons for this issue and suggest solutions.
Make an opening on top of the fuel tank and install a small electric fan, or use instrument air to blow air into the tank, so as to maintain a negative pressure inside it.
The other two oil mist separators are fine
In the image above, it’s either impossible to answer your question, or the return port of the oil mist separator is not set properly, or the oil has been drawn into the housing.
