How long can PAC solution be stored before it can no longer be used?

The factory has set up flocculation testing equipment, and experiments are to be conducted today using PAC solution from a week ago; however, no flocs were visible at all. Is it my PAC solution that’s damaged?

If it is the original solution, the shelf life is usually around 3 months. If it is a diluted liquid solution, it should be prepared and used immediately. The absence of flocculation may be due to an insufficient dosage of the chemicals, or it could be caused by the hydrolysis of the PAC solution.
I gave it a try – I used the newly prepared medication and increased the concentration to around 80mg/L, and it was able to function normally. It’s probably due to the low temperatures and high turbidity in winter. Thank you all again.
