I don’t know when I’ll change careers

I have been in this field for 4 years. At first, I was responsible for preparing product quality certificates; I did that for a year, but I thought it was a job meant for women. Since I was the only young man in the office, I wasn’t willing to give up, so I studied the standards on my own, read relevant books, and learned the basics. By chance, I learned how to estimate the cost of an entire piece of equipment (although it seems simple now, it was a bit overwhelming when I first encountered it). I also learned about scheduling production processes and creating blueprints; it was a tough process. Although a mentor helped me get started, I had to figure many things out on my own through trial and error and by asking others for advice. The key issue is that not much money can be made; I want to improve myself, so I’ve been studying film stress lately, but it’s too abstract. I feel there’s something wrong with my approach to learning*; could someone experienced please show me the way and tell me how to learn?
