First of all, this is a joke from when old equipment was used, and the manager still doesn’t know about it yet. The company has just established a equipment manufacturing plant, and it produced several 200㎡ condensers for our project. These were sent to the site for assembly without undergoing pressure testing first; pressure testing was carried out after they were installed. During the pressure testing, it was found that water was not returning in one of the pipes; therefore, the entire pipe system was disassembled to check whether any plastic covers on the valves had not been removed, but no issues were found upon inspection. So the pressure testing personnel called the team leader who was in charge of manufacturing this condenser as well as the other employees, asking them to resolve the issue on their own. They discussed things in a low voice on the spot for quite some time, before the team leader came to tell me that there was a problem: one of the panels inside had been forgotten, so water started to flow in, and it would take a long time for the water to flow out again, plus the flow rate was very low. Let me not say anything; it’s impossible to transport it back, so we have to find a solution on the spot. There’s nothing I can do; all I can say is that although I don’t know how you do it and since it’s not possible to redo the work, there is only one solution: two inlet streams and two outlet streams. You should discuss this among yourselves. After a while, the team leader said, \"That’s it; we’ll carry out these additional installation tasks by ourselves.\" After all, we have just started manufacturing the equipment, so we lack experience.
It’s not appropriate for the equipment to be used without applying pressure
At that time, the company’s projects were in full swing, with 7–8 projects (branch plants) being installed simultaneously, and the equipment factory simply did not have enough time to handle all of this work.
We go to the equipment factory every day to press them for the equipment, which drives them crazy.
Even when seeing equipment from other projects (tanks and the like), as long as it’s similar to one’s own, they immediately have a forklift take it away; they also often go to other projects to look for their own equipment.
This is a bit confusing; it’s hard not to think of problems, and there’s also a lot of pressure
Uninstall all the pipes? Do we need to conduct pressure testing again? Could we use some kind of device that connects to the sewer system, one that operates on a reflux principle and moves forward on its own, thereby reducing the need for disassembly?
