Is there a difference between high-temperature and low-temperature silicone oil used in filling stainless steel nuclear membrane seismic pressure gauges? If so, how can it be distinguished from the pressure gauge itself? The temperature of the medium in use is currently 172℃
It can only be said that there is indeed a difference between high-temperature silicone oil and ordinary silicone oil; as for how to determine this, it’s not clear, as it will be decided during the selection process. 172℃ should be within the range suitable for low-temperature silicone oil; the upper limit is 180
Silicone oil (low viscosity) –40–130°C Silicone oil (high viscosity) –30–240℃
