In the diesel and gasoline hydrorefining unit, the valve spool of the cold high-pressure separation angle valve is severely eroded, resulting in leakage! ! Have you all encountered the same problem?
I haven’t encountered it yet, but for valves that are so expensive, how long have you had them in use before this issue arose?
I’ve encountered it before; there are no issues during normal production, one just needs to be careful not to have pressure leakage during the shutdown process
The valve core of the angle valve should be made of stainless steel; this can be verified. High salt content in the water can cause CL corrosion to the stainless steel component of the angle valve
It is normal for such angle valves to suffer severe erosion; when selecting them, it is necessary to use valve cores made of materials resistant to acids and corrosion. Our products previously contained solid particles, and within 24 hours of the first operation, the valve cores were worn through.
