I have a question for everyone: if the distance between the liquid ammonia storage tank and the school is not sufficient, are there any good solutions?
I think the best way when a factory is relocated is to prioritize human life – it’s a matter of life and death, and no one can afford to face the consequences if something goes wrong.
How did a liquid ammonia storage tank end up next to the school? What is its size? Has it reached the critical amount for hazardous chemicals? It’s used solely for cooling and air conditioning, so not much of it is needed

If it is a buried tank, are the requirements for safety distance lower? There have been quite a few major accidents involving liquid ammonia in recent years, so it’s better to be cautious.

Is a spacing of 250m sufficient? According to Table 4.1.9 of the petrochemical regulations, a distance of 100m is required; in that case, the tank area can be placed in a different direction
