Dear veterans in the petrochemical industry, could you please explain to a newcomer how catalysts are screened in your petrochemical plants? Manual or mechanical? Are there any companies in the country that specialize in this service? What is the level of service?
Is the poster referring to the analysis of catalysts? We all send the samples back to the catalyst manufacturer by courier for analysis.
Is it to test the catalyst or to sieve it? There is a separator for catalysts.
It’s either analysis or complete screening; it is said that the catalysts used in petrochemical plants contain precious metals, which are very expensive, so careful handling is required during screening
Do you have the sorter on your own? Are there still companies that specialize in providing such services?
