Hello, everyone! What tooling is needed for manufacturing boiler shells? Thank you all!

Is it necessary to use tooling to assemble the cylinders together?
Simple fixtures must be used between cylinders and between cylinders and end caps; otherwise, issues such as misalignment, uneven misalignment, and lack of centrality will occur
To ensure parallelism between the two flanges of the in-situ level gauge, special fixtures are needed; there are quite a few components installed inside the drum

The coiled tubes made of seamless steel in fire-tube boilers require orifice plates, and these orifice plates need to be manufactured using specialized tools; this is a type of fixture. Before welding the elbows for the serpentine pipes on site, the workers must use fixtures to hold the pipes in place, ensuring proper concentricity
