What measures should be taken for the titanium-cooled coolers in the dechlorination tower, and what precautions should be observed?
1. Open all the inlet and outlet valves of the circulating water in the heat exchanger of the chlorine scrubber tower to lower the temperature of the scrubbing liquid, thereby reducing the temperature of chlorine exiting the tower. 2. Increase the circulation volume of dilute sulfuric acid in the primary drying tower (dilute acid circulation tower). 3. Increase the amount of concentrated sulfuric acid added.
We are preparing to add acid to the power-off tank; the chlorate decomposition tank will also be shut down, and the pressure in the chlorine main pipe is to be maintained at constant level.
What is the purpose of doing this – to reduce the purity of chlorine and decrease the amount of chlorine by a little? This approach won’t work; rather than doing that, it’s better to reduce the system load, lower the current, decrease the amount of chlorine, and also reduce the total water content significantly. This way, the pressure on the subsequent systems is reduced, the chlorine water content is kept under control, and thus the safety of the equipment turbines is ensured.
