Before feeding material into the newly installed unit, nitrogen purging is carried out to remove moisture; what dew point value is required to be considered acceptable? ?

The original poster didn’t clarify the conditions. It’s impossible for the water content in the system nitrogen to reach 1PPM; oil drying during the startup process is required.
Is nitrogen used to blow out the water from the pipes? As for the nitrogen dew point, first, whether it is deep cryogenic or PSA nitrogen production, the dew point is generally below 3 ppm at present; second, what is the allowable water content for your facility? ~~
The catalyst requires a water content of 1 ppm; however, there is a dryer before the catalyst. Currently, nitrogen contains water before operation – is it really necessary to reduce the water content to 10 ppm?
The catalyst hasn’t been loaded yet, right? Do you mean by “removing water” the elimination of free water after a hydrostatic test? Personally, I think it’s sufficient as long as there is no free water left after blowing~~
