The amount of terminator (coker gasoline) used is 4 tons per hour, while the fresh feed amount is 55 tons per hour (of which 20 tons per hour are heavy residue and 35 tons per hour are wax oil). The amount of slurry fed back for reprocessing is 10 tons per hour. Could the current reaction temperature be too high, resulting in the spent catalyst containing oil? If the reaction temperature is below 430 degrees, the catalyst will exhibit capillary oiling. Also, a low stripping temperature results in incomplete stripping, which should also be considered as oil contamination.
The original poster is referring to the amount of recycled oil slurry, not the amount of oil slurry discharged externally! Don’t you do catalyst sampling? Under normal conditions, the raw catalyst is only slightly gray in color and may have a slight odor of oil and gas! If it’s severe, the catalyst will glow – this is an obvious sign! If oil is present during the operation, you will find that the regeneration temperature rises, while the oxygen content decreases; once the conditions for burning off the oil are no longer met, the regeneration temperature drops!
