Currently, the company needs to install safety ropes at the gasoline loading and unloading platforms, but it’s not possible to find any standards or regulations that address this issue. I hope experts can help! It's best to have a standard name.
The unloading quay is equipped with guardrails; are safety ropes provided for tying safety belts? It can be directly attached to the guardrail.
It should be a fixture for attaching safety ropes; in our factory, it’s a slide with a hook on it that is used to attach safety belts, facilitating the movement of people.
Safety ropes and belts are used to protect fuel dispensers from slipping while walking on tank trucks. We also have that activity ladder; it can be placed on the tank truck, allowing the fuel filler to position themselves on the ladder to fill the tank.
It should mean the same as what you said: a slide is installed at the top, and the safety rope is hung on that slide; when filling fuel, the worker should wear a safety belt if they are walking around on the tank truck. Do you know which standard or specification specifies this?
Why must we look for standards? ! We didn’t have it here before; later, the workers suggested lower standards, so it was modified. It seems that there are also requirements in local regulations now! But if we really need a standard, does climbing count? !
If design is needed on this side, it requires justification; currently, the question is whether there are any standards available to support such a design. There are still objections to this design: in the event of a fire or explosion, if workers wear safety belts in an emergency, it might hinder their ability to escape!
