It is understood that Maoming has chosen a 1:1 mixture of Shaqing and Shazhong crude oils, using the tail oil generated from hydrocracking as a raw material for lubricant isomerization and dewaxing. Three types of lubricant base oils are produced, with technology and catalysts provided by the Fuyan Research Institute.
