I graduated from university in July 2013 and started working in a factory, progressing from an operator to an instrument technician, then to a generalist in the field of instruments, followed by work as a generalist in electrical systems, and finally as an assistant instrument engineer. Looking back, it’s been two and a half years already. Compared to other forum members, I might be too young, but my story might not be ordinary after all. I have three mentors. The first one is my mentor who introduced me to this field; he is the team leader of the electrical and instrumentation group ； The second is my mentor; he is a instrumentation engineer ； The third is to support the master, who is also a instrumentation engineer. 　　I can’t write articles, so I’ll simply recount the little things related to my second master. After all, I’m no longer around him now, but I miss him very much. My mentor graduated from Northeastern University; he’s quite tall, which is why people gave him the nickname “Tall Guy Oppa”. He is very kind to everyone, and people affectionately call him “Old Liu”, though I’ve never used that title for him… I remember when I first started working at the company, he went home to visit his family. When he returned, the department head introduced me to him. I said, “Please take care of me, Engineer Liu,” to which he replied, “Let’s learn from each other.” That was the first page, marking the beginning of our one year and two months as master and apprentice, as well as the enduring relationship between us for life. 　　When it comes to issues related to my specialty, my mentor has always been willing to share everything he knows” ； Since I don’t like the food provided by the company, my supervisor often takes me to eat delicious food ； Regarding the confusions in life, my mentor would also teach me through words and actions. What I remember most clearly is him saying, “I used to earn *** yuan back then,” and from that he implied that it’s still possible for you now; take your time. I’m often late for work, and my supervisor always turns a blind eye to it ； Sometimes I’m in a bad mood, and when my boss assigns me tasks, I refuse to do them. My boss has never said anything to me; only occasionally, when he’s drunk, I hear him say, “XX (my name), this kid has character!” ”Everyone needs a personality, but if it’s too prominent, it can also lead to harm. My personality is too outspoken; even as the workshop supervisor, I believe that reason should be used in all situations. Sometimes there are conflicts with the workshop staff, and my mentor steps in to mediate. I think my mentor has a hard time dealing with these situations. My master likes to shop overseas, so I select products on Amazon in the United States and send them to him for him to purchase, with payment upon delivery. When my boss got off work, he took a ride home with someone else; I, along with another colleague, drove behind him so that we could have dinner at his place. These memories, whether in fragments or as small details, are etched in my memory and cannot be erased. 　　I’m really not good at writing articles.
