Hello, colleagues. Generally, for centrifugal fans with what power rating or higher, is it necessary to install bearings and temperature sensors for the stator?
It depends on the importance of the equipment in the production line, as well as its age of production.
Due to the high cost of large-scale equipment, stringent protection and monitoring requirements are necessary. The temperatures of the bearings in fans and motors, as well as the stator of the motors, must be monitored. Some systems also need to monitor vibration.
In other words, there are no strict rules; one has to make a decision based on the actual circumstances :(
