I would like to ask everyone: Are there any specific standards regarding the proportion of non-destructive testing for buried process pipelines? Currently, it is shown as SHB3 grade on the single-line diagram, and the design requirement is 100% non-destructive testing! Has it already far exceeded the requirements of the standards?
Under normal circumstances, the non-destructive testing rate for buried process pipelines should be 100%.
The testing ratios specified in the standards represent the minimum requirements; if the design documents do not specify anything, those standards can be used as a reference. If the design documents require 100% testing, then testing must be carried out in accordance with those specifications. Otherwise, if problems arise due to inadequate testing of the pipes, you will be held fully responsible
Buried process pipelines have requirements related to concealed work; if there is a leakage or damage, it cannot be detected in a timely manner

100% non-destructive testing isn’t considered a serious deviation from the specified requirements; however, 200% testing might represent a relatively high standard. It’s advisable to check which standards and specifications govern the non-destructive testing requirements as determined in the design

There are many types of non-destructive testing. The so-called 100% testing mentioned in design generally refers to 100% radiographic testing combined with 100% ultrasonic testing. For example, the engineering design specifications for gas pipelines require that welds that require rework, as well as welds at the joints of pipelines that have not been pressure-tested, be subjected to 100% ultrasonic testing and 100% radiographic testing~~
