What are the effects of a low circulation rate of the slurry returning to the tower?
The bottom temperature of the tower, the top pressure, and the overall load of the tower affect product quality and yield.
The circulating slurry returning to the tower is primarily responsible for washing the catalyst out of the reaction gas and liquid, as well as cooling the superheated gas and liquid, thereby ensuring a balanced heat load between the vapor and liquid phases in the upper part of the tower!
If the flow back to the tower affects the total circulation volume of the slurry system, it will also have an impact on the line velocity in that system.
