Master’s degree, 12 years of work experience, location: Jiangsu. When can I apply for a senior professional title? Is it necessary to publish articles to obtain a senior professional title? 1. Time: Generally, five years are required after obtaining an intermediate professional title before one can apply for a senior professional title. 2. Papers: Usually, 3 articles published in provincial-level journals are required. 3. English proficiency: One must pass the Professional English Test Level A. 4. Continuing education: Requirements vary by province; in some areas, online courses, including four specific courses, are required. You can enroll in courses on the continuing education website of your province*. This is essentially a requirement in terms of hardware. Of course, at work, you will receive extra points for participating in various technical improvement projects, inventions, and scientific research projects. It’s more difficult to obtain a higher professional title, as one must pass an examination organized by the Commission for Economy and Information Technology; once passed, it’s all good! Do I still need to take the computer exam? For the intermediate level, I took 3 exams. I saw someone say that four computer-related exams are required for the advanced title?
