What to do if the Rosemount vortex flowmeter gives inaccurate readings?

There is a vortex flow meter on site for measuring medium-pressure nitrogen. The straight pipe section in which the flow meter is installed meets the requirements, and its basic parameters are set correctly; the measurement range is set at 0–8000 M3/h. There is another flow meter in front of this one. When the instantaneous flow rate measured by the flow meter in front is around 7000 M3/h, the flow meter behind shows zero. When the flow rate indicated by the flow meter in front is 9000 M3/h, the flow meter behind shows around 1000 M3/h. And when the flow rate indicated by the flow meter in front is over 10000 M3/h, the flow meter behind also shows a value over 10000 M3/h. Experts, what could be the reason for this?
What type of flow meter is that in front?
Check if the operating conditions play a role; whether the temperature, pressure, and flow rate are within the specified ranges.
Obviously one of them is broken; it was removed and sent to the calibration laboratory, with a calibration cost of 2000
Is the cut for low flow too drastic? ? Is the flow meter installed in the wrong direction? Is the sensor broken? Was a density ratio set? ? These are the few things I can think of.......... If there’s any result, please let the original poster know so we can learn from it as well*learn*

Based on the poster’s description, if they can ensure that the readings from the flow meter ahead are correct, then it is likely that the vortex flowmeter behind is damaged. As for the other comments regarding an overly sharp signal cut-off or incorrect installation direction, I think the poster, being an expert in instrumentation, should not make such mistakes. Also, does this vortex flowmeter have an alarm function? If there is, you can describe it, ****, and I can look it up for you then
Thank you to all the poster owners. The previous one was also a vortex flow meter, and both flow meters were sent for inspection before. A few days ago, this flow meter, which did not display any flow rate, was taken apart and sent for inspection, but it still did not show any readings – there is a fault with the flow meter itself
I recommend that you use a different Coriolis mass flow meter
