I have a question for the experts here: oxygen pressure gauges need to be free of grease, while shock-resistant pressure gauge faces require filling with oil. So what should be done if an oxygen pressure gauge is also required to be shock-resistant?
Oxygen pressure gauges don’t need to be oil-proof; only hydrogen pressure gauges do.
Then consider other damping methods.
Add dampers? I want to see what methods people actually use in practice. :P
Oil prohibition means that there must be no grease at the parts where the gauge is connected to oxygen; it has nothing to do with the shock-absorbing oil inside the gauge.
Oxygen pressure gauges are not oil-resistant unless used in environments with flammable gases. Seismic pressure gauges use the high viscosity, low fluidity, and hysteresis of oil to absorb vibration energy, thereby enabling accurate measurement of pressure
Oil must be prohibited in any area where oxygen pressure gauges are used, as oil will decompose naturally in an environment with high concentrations of oxygen.
I always feel it’s not safe; I wonder if anyone has any practical experience with it
It can be filled with fluorine oil, which possesses excellent chemical inertness, though at a high cost.
