Our company is considering recycling steam condensate to the soft water system, but this will cause the temperature of the soft water system to rise. So I’d like to get some guidance from those who are experienced in this area – what is the typical range of inlet water temperature for a soft water system?
Around 20°C; the deviation should not be too large

It’s basically at room temperature, the ambient temperature.
It can be added directly and cooled by an air cooler, reducing the need to replenish soft water and thus saving water. Our company specializes in closed-loop cooling water systems.
It can be kept between 15°C and 30°C
We operate at normal temperature; only when desalinated water is used as feedwater for high-pressure or medium-pressure boilers is degassing (thermal degassing) necessary due to the increase in temperature.
If it is not convenient to feed the water directly into the soft water system, one can consider using a heat exchanger to extract part of the heat from it, and then feeding that water into the circulating water system.
I feel it’s my duty to tell the original poster that, for ion exchangers, I agree with the opinion of the friend on floor 8 – to keep the temperature between 15°C and 30°C. There are quite a few professional books on water treatment in the forum... If I remember correctly, raising the inlet temperature of the ion exchangers appropriately can help improve the exchange efficiency of the resin; of course, if it’s too high, problems will arise.
