In the dynamic Sichuan-Chongqing region, the load on most facilities is increasing; however, due to the traditional off-season for downstream demand, companies are seeing slow sales. The prevailing market price for methanol in Yunnan is around 2,000 yuan per ton, while major manufacturers in Guizhou have suspended operations, so there are no current prices available. Activity in the local market is limited; the market remains calm with prices staying stable at low levels. In the Guanzhong region of Shaanxi, the current prevailing negotiation price is around 1,580–1,640 yuan per ton. In the areas surrounding Xianyang, the accepted price is 1,640 yuan per ton, which is 10 yuan per ton higher than last week; the actual transaction prices remain to be determined. The prevailing selling price for methanol produced from coal and coke oven gas in Heilongjiang is around 1,650–1,700 yuan per ton, with the product mainly sold locally and in Jilin. The quotes provided by the main traders in Liaoning range around 1,850–1,900 yuan per ton; demand in the market is weak, resulting in sluggish sales.
