What is the shape of the baffle plates in the tube bundle that flows through the shell in a heat exchanger? How does the fluid in the shell side flow? Please help
The middle inlet and outlet should be a support plate. It should be an arc-shaped baffle assembled with upper and lower notches on both sides. A heat exchanger of the evaporation type for powder media, with low pressure drop.
I’ve never seen this heat exchanger in person, but it’s likely used with rather special media
