I would like to ask the experts here: Today, the outlet pressure of our air compressor dropped suddenly for no apparent reason, falling from 0.67 MPa to 0.6 MPa, while the current decreased from 101.5 A to 98 A. What could be the possible causes of this? I’ve thought about it for a long time without coming to any conclusion, and I didn’t notice anything unusual when I went to the site. Under normal circumstances, the pressure should decrease while the current should increase; there is a contradiction in the parameters, so calibrate the gauge first
The load on the compressor is determined by the back pressure; check whether there is an increase in gas consumption or leaks, as a decrease in exhaust pressure will also lead to a decrease in current, which is normal.
Check whether the gas consumption at the backend has increased, whether the self-cleaning filters at the frontend are clogged, and whether the inter-stage coolers are functioning properly, among other things.
There’s nothing wrong with the gauge; a decrease in current indicates a reduction in power, and a drop in pressure should be normal

It is correct that the pressure decreases and the current decreases. But it’s not right for the pressure to drop suddenly; should it be uninstalled? It’s either due to a sudden increase in the amount of gas used, or there is a leak somewhere.
Check for a drop in pipeline network pressure.
It’s probably because of a sudden increase in gas consumption downstream. Another issue is insufficient inbound traffic. Check it out!

After we reduced the size of the check valve, the pressure returned to normal; it seems that the pressure fluctuations were caused by changes in air temperature.
