Sinochem’s fluorine industry has established a complete industrial chain that integrates resource development (fluorite and hydrofluoric acid), research and development, production, and sales. Sinochem Blue Sky Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sinochem Group (referred to as Sinochem Blue Sky), is a leading domestic manufacturer and researcher of fluorine-containing chemicals. It is also one of the Chinese companies designated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection to benefit from the Multilateral Fund under the United Nations Montreal Protocol for the protection of the ozone layer. In 2014, the “Jinleng” brand was recognized as a **well-known trademark**, with a brand value of 1.386 billion yuan ； “The turnover of the “Kehua” trifluoroacetic acid product series has maintained a growth rate of over 20% in the past two years, with a domestic market share of more than 60%. In terms of resource development, Sinochem Blue Sky possesses a reserve of over 30 million tons of fluorite resources, ranking first among domestic companies in this sector. It also has the capacity to produce 80,000 tons of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and 30,000 tons of trichloroethylene per year, thereby establishing a resource foundation that supports the long-term development of its fluorination industry operations. In terms of technological research and development, as a **key research institution in the fluorine chemical industry** and the host facility for the Engineering Technology Research Center focused on alternatives to substances that deplete the ozone layer (ODS), Sinochem Blue Sky was one of the first companies in China to engage in research and production of halons and alternatives to ODS. In the field of fluorocarbon chemicals, the company has independently developed over 40 ODS substitutes with independent intellectual property rights, covering all the substitute types that are under research and development internationally ； In the field of fluorine-containing fine chemicals, the trifluoroacetic acid series developed features a wide range of products and high quality, ranking among the best in China’s fluorination industry ； In the field of new energy and new materials, the domestically developed fluorine-containing special film products for use in photovoltaic backplanes, as well as new evaporation cooling media for wind power generation, have broken through multiple foreign technological monopolies. The highly active fluorination catalyst production technology developed by us has been successfully applied to the industrial production of various products, enabling the reduction of hundreds of thousands of tons of ODS emissions each year. In 2014, Sinochem Blue Sky participated in the formulation of 10 industry standards, obtained 45 authorized patents, and the 2 \"863\" projects it was working on reached the acceptance phase. As an alternative to HCFC-22, in recent years Sinochem Blue Sky has independently developed another new type of refrigerant – HFC-161, which is part of the \"Fengleng\" product series. It has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 12, thus opening up new avenues for the use of environmentally friendly refrigerants worldwide. It also became a highlight at the 24th International Refrigeration Exhibition. In terms of production, Sinochem Blue Sky operates over 20 manufacturing facilities in 7 provinces across the country, with an annual production capacity of more than 300,000 tons; it manufactures more than 50 different products or product combinations. At present, the company’s trifluorine series expansion and renovation projects as well as the CFC-113a project have been completed and are operating stably. Meanwhile, cooperation projects with multinational companies such as Solvay and Honeywell have been put into operation one after another, further enhancing the company’s position in the fluorine chemical industry.
