I haven’t had much to do recently, so I’m preparing a renovation plan for myself. S7-200 (don’t discard it if the modules have been removed) + Android tablet to control the temperature, humidity, lighting, and sound in the home (I haven’t tried the security features, so I’m not sure if they work). Humidity and temperature control are handled by the air-source tri-split system, which is easy to manage. The sound and lighting features (things like parties, romantic candlelit atmospheres, morning wake-up calls, etc.) can be a bit problematic; you might even get beaten if things go wrong. . . Expert tips!
Hey, I’ve also considered using a PLC at home, but there’s one issue: it might require a lot of cables to be installed. I hope the original poster can succeed and share it with everyone. :)
Use 0.75 gauge cable; a 50*120 PVC concealed conduit should be sufficient
Original poster V5, this is the industrial version of smart home technology. I would like to ask the original poster how to communicate between an Android tablet and a PLC?
200 seems not to work; for Ethernet communication on Android tablets, software support is available
