I saw that turbine flowmeters are used on site. Besides turbines, what else is used to measure oxygen? Is differential pressure a viable option, and would vortex flowmeters work as well?
We have ones for measuring hydrogen gas, V-cone + 3095 transmitter
The flow meter depends on the flow rate, pipe diameter, and pressure at your site. Vortex flow meters and differential pressure meters can definitely be used for measurement. Personally, I recommend using a float-type (metal rotor) meter, as it is inexpensive and effective~!
Vortex street meters, swirl vortex meters, and thermal gas mass flow meters can all be used
Monel orifice plate vortex street; the generating element is a nickel-based alloy. Coriolis mass, measurement tube 316, less than 25 M/S.

We have used orifice plates, as well as vortex flow meters and Venturi meters for measurement, and the results are quite accurate; especially for determining the point at which oxygen levels drop, dual-head vortex flow meters are generally used, such as those in Shell furnaces
If I want to measure the mass flow rate of oxygen, can I use an orifice plate with temperature and pressure compensation, along with an integrator? Can I obtain the mass flow rate in this way?
This post was last edited by zxb1990 on 2016-5-2 at 19:53. For measuring oxygen, we generally use vortex flow meters; in our factory, turbines are used to measure gas, with imported turbines being employed for trade measurement purposes, and they also deliver good results.
