Are there any teachers who use underwater bottom valves in their tanks, and what are the results?

The centrifugal pump is installed above the tank; it has no self-priming tank, and a foot valve must be installed at the pump inlet； How effective is the bottom valve? There is a new product whose underwater bottom valve is easy to install, but what is its performance? Will the air in front of the valve affect the pump’s startup?
What’s wrong? Is there no one? How can I offer a reward for this request for help?
Installing a check valve is the same as installing a foot valve; it’s pretty much the same thing. I’m just worried about the gas between the bottom valve in the water and the liquid surface – whether it could affect the pump.
