Is the Petrochemical Design Institute still a good place to find employment?

I have a Master’s degree from 211 university, specializing in chemical process machinery. I previously received an offer from an engineering company that has always been my ideal workplace; however, I have also received an employment offer from a state-owned enterprise in Beijing that produces metal powders. I don’t know how to decide right now, so I earnestly ask the seniors here at Kaichuan: where should I go? I hope the seniors can offer some guidance
If you want stability, working at a petrochemical design institute is a good choice； It’s better to go to a nuclear power plant. If you want to start a business, go and manage a strictly regulated private enterprise to achieve faster progress.
Senior, that means it’s still worth visiting chemical engineering design institutes these days; I want stability now
If you want stability, go to an engineering design firm; if you don’t want stability, it’s easy to change jobs.
Chemical engineering machinery is not doing well in engineering companies these days; I think state-owned enterprises are still the better option
A central state-owned enterprise in Beijing (that produces metal powders) asked: What kind of metal powders are produced? Are there any future industry prospects?
The major in Chemical Process Machinery falls under the category of equipment-related specialties in design institutes, and it is not a primary major.
I also think about working in a design firm that’s related to my field; if that doesn’t work out, it will be easier to find a job elsewhere
I work with a group of doctors and masters specializing in metal materials at those central state-owned enterprises, and I feel even less competitive there
It produces copper powder, aluminum powder, as well as nickel powder and similar things – mainly metal powders
