What kind of paint is generally used on the surface of heat exchange finned tubes? If they are made of carbon steel, will rust form inside them? ?
I’d like to know that too; if you know, please share it. Thank you.
Painting doesn’t help either; in a economizer where the temperature is over 180 degrees, using paint only leads to problems once it’s put into use
The outer surface is painted, but only to a small extent; we discussed this in detail with the customer. The material is usually carbon steel, and it can be resistant to corrosion.
