Today, I opened the butterfly valve at the inlet of the heat exchanger with a DN150 diameter. It seems that the way the valve operates is incorrect – normally it should be closed clockwise and opened counterclockwise. Is it possible that the valve manufacturer made a mistake and arranged it so that it opens clockwise and closes counterclockwise? (I’m referring to ordinary valves here.) Please share your thoughts. :Shut up: It’s usually turned clockwise to open, and counterclockwise to close. Sometimes, the manufacturer produces it in the state desired by the client. So the key is whether there is technical communication during your procurement
The disc of a butterfly valve cannot rotate 360° either; it cannot turn in the opposite direction! Is the difficulty level related to fluorine coating?
I encountered a butterfly valve with a diameter of 200; due to a cracked gearbox, a new one was installed. However, the device was assembled in the wrong way – turning it clockwise opened it, while turning it counterclockwise closed it. Once this was discovered, the process requirements dictated that it be reassembled~~
