It operates continuously; maintaining heat retention is sufficient to reduce heat loss and prevent burns, so there’s no need for heating!
I didn’t see any heating provided for the condensate water at the reboiler outlet, but it’s hard to say whether insulation is intended to reduce heat loss or to prevent scalding. The main approach at present is to recover condensate without causing it to condense. However, just because the condensate does not condense within the facility does not mean that the receiving party will not be bothered by its high temperature; this still depends on the heat balance at the condensate recovery station. Whether insulation is needed or not, the pipelines along the route should still be insulated to prevent burns.
In the north, if the diameter of the condensate pipeline is less than DN50, it is advisable to provide heating to prevent freezing in winter; in other areas, it is sufficient to take measures to prevent scalding if heat is not to be recovered.
