Issues regarding the level gauge settings on the same device

Our plant is a natural gas purification facility; after desulfurization, the acidic gases are used in the Claus process to recover sulfur. There are two glass plate level gauges on the waste heat boiler located behind the main combustion furnace, along with three level transmitters, and they are not very far apart. Apart from it indicating that the liquid level here is quite important, why exactly is that?
On-site and remote monitoring are separate things. We have two sites, two remote transmissions
Oh, okay. Why install so many level gauges?
The important parameter is that a majority vote of two out of three is required; in addition, level gauges in certain chemical facilities need to be of different types, otherwise the environmental impact assessment cannot be approved
It is for insurance purposes. Prevent a failure.
