When the instrument shows PV-BAD and can recover after power is cut off (some instruments show OOS from time to time), what are the common causes? Things that cannot be restored – generally, after replacing the instruments, they can be commissioned. What aspects need attention during routine maintenance? Aside from shielding and grounding, I hope experts can offer more guidance
It’s probably a problem with the instrument’s status. The FF instrument has two states: one is the OOS state you mentioned, and the other is AUTO. When the instrument is working properly, it should be in the AUTO state; otherwise, it doesn’t produce any output. Go to the site and check the header display to see if the status is correct There’s not much to do for routine maintenance; a 475 model that supports the FF protocol is required.
