I passed the basic exam for the Certified Accounting qualification 14 years ago, which caused a one-year delay; now I feel that having this certificate is unnecessary, so I want to pursue another specialty. Are there any other options besides the Certified Accounting exam?

I think these days, if it’s just for the sake of having something on paper, there’s no need to take any exams; it’s better to focus on doing one’s job well； If one wants to make progress in the chemical industry, obtaining a certification in this field is the best choice, as it encourages one to study according to a set plan. Such a certification is merely a document similar to a work permit; true expertise lies in acquiring more professional knowledge and applying it in practice to achieve tangible results
