Liquid nitrogen can be used for cooling, but what process is employed? Pointed it out upstairs?
The temperature provided by liquid nitrogen is much lower than what is required; it’s fine for conducting experiments, but for large-scale production a continuous and relatively inexpensive cold source is needed, in which case liquid nitrogen loses its advantage.

The minimum evaporation temperature of a refrigerant is generally 10 to 20 degrees higher than its freezing point.
