I mainly want to know how to determine whether a safety valve is experiencing internal leakage for both external and internal tests, especially in the case of fully enclosed safety valves.

A good way to tell if liquefied gas is problematic is that it will cool down, or even frost over, in the event of an internal leak. There is another method: the devices at the outlet of our low-pressure gas pipeline system have pressure displays, and this also works for dry gas. We also have safety valves for liquids; we monitor the liquid level changes in the tank behind.
The medium is a liquid; in normal oil refining plants, it refers to steam, coal, diesel, etc; Can we analyze it using a common distillation column? The temperature is generally around 100°C, I guess
Then feel or measure the temperature of the pipeline behind the safety valve.
Is the temperature 100°C? Place a small piece of a solid similar to paraffin (with a melting point below 100°C) on the safety valve; by checking the state of this paraffin, it can be determined whether there is a leak in the valve – if it has melted, that indicates a leak.
This mainly relies on experience: 1. Check the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet. 2. Listen for any sound of fluid flow.

Depending on the work situation, experience also plays a role. The types of safety valves also vary. We often make judgments based on the temperature behind the valve. Judging pressure also relies on experience
