1. Hitting is strictly prohibited. When installing connectors such as couplings, pulleys, and sprockets on the output shaft of the reducer, direct hammering must not be used, as the structure of the reducer’s output shaft cannot withstand axial impacts. Instead, screws can be inserted into the screw holes at the shaft ends to push the connectors into place. 2. A vent cap (exhaust plug) must be installed. Before use, the plug at the highest position should be replaced with an exhaust plug to ensure that gases are expelled from the reducer during operation. If it is not replaced in time and the reducer operates for a long period of time, the gas inside the reducer can cause the oil seal to swell and burst, resulting in oil leakage from the reducer. 3. Replace the lubricating oil in a timely manner, paying special attention to the first time. Special attention should be paid to the first oil change: the lubricating oil should be replaced after 300–400 hours of operation of the reducer, and thereafter every 1500–2000 hours. Furthermore, in work environments with harsh conditions, high temperatures, and high levels of dust, the lubricant should be checked every two weeks; if any contaminants are found in the lubricant, it should be replaced to keep it clean, thereby extending the lifespan of the reducer and improving economic efficiency. Replacing the lubricant means: draining all the existing lubricant, cleaning the area thoroughly, and then adding new lubricant.
